Sa pagdinig ng Senado, inihayag ni DOT Secretary Christina Frasco ang pagpapaganda ng serbisyo at pasilidad ng mga secondary airport tulad ng Cebu, Davao, Iloilo at iba pa na may potensyal na maging international gateway at magpapalago ng turismo sa bansa.

Ipinunto rin ng kalihim ang National Tourism Development Plan 2023-2028 na inaprubahan ni PBBM para sa pagpapaunlad ng infrastructure at connectivity sa industriya ng turismo.
